CD ReviewsA Judicious Mixture Of Standards Barry McCanna | Normandy, France | 07/14/2007 (4 out of 5 stars) "Harry Parry is enjoying something of a revival, with currently no fewer than three CDs devoted to his memory, and this one is well up to Mike Dutton's usual high standard of remastering. It contains a judicious mixture of standards, many associated with Benny Goodman or Artie Shaw, plus a number of Parry's own compositions. Listening to it, I couldn't help feeling at times that this music should be played with somewhat less reserve, but that minor cavil should not deter you from ordering it whilst it's still available.
