"Gloria Loring is a fantastic vocalist. It's truly a shame she has not achieved more of a popular following. This album, sadly out of release, is one of her best. Gloria sings with a great deal of emotion, and knows how to control her voice to the utmost! Highlights: "Slow Dancing," a smooth and sultry rendition of an old 70's hit; a beautiful song called "A Grateful Heart," which eloquently discusses the pain of loss of a loved one; her classic duet "Friends and Lovers" is done solo this time, and even though Carl Anderson was great, you don't miss him on this version; and a beautiful reading of Hoagy Carmichael's classic "Stardust." A really enjoyable album; try finding it in a bargain bin or auction! It's worth it."

"It is truly ashame that this album is out of print. I was fortunate to be able to get this item when it was first released. Gloria Loring struts her stuff on this album. From her first self titled album to her latest, Gloria Loring shines. I was fortunate to find her first two albums in auctions and I must say, if you can find them they are well worth buying. I look forward to hearing more from her in the future. We Love You Gloria..."
