Album DescriptionBoxed away in their studio overlooking 8th Avenue, surrounded by the throb of Manhattan, furniture music has given birth to Satellite Life, their first official release. The band is fueled by three diverse songwriting styles. The sound is elusive, hinting at everything from indie art-rock to old-school country. Perhaps the biggest influence on the band, however, is the city around them?listen closely, amidst the whirling guitars and vocal harmonies, you just might hear an ambulance or a jackhammer. What a talented act here. The vibe is quirky with the fusion of style, but man, its very hip. Reminds me of some Steve Malkmus at times. This CD is as clear a picture of indie rock that there is today! BUY IT!
