"THis is one of the best works of Francoise i've ever heard. Her voice is so soothing and soft, you feel like floating on a cloud, while it brings back memory of a time passee. The melancholy in her songs is light-hearted and full of sagesse (J'ai Jete Mon Coeur), L'Amour D'1 Garcon reminds you of your very first crush, and La Maison Ou J'ai Grandie takes you back to the time of carefree friendship..I can't say enough for Francoise, she is so good."

"When I began purchasing French music in the sixties, Francoise Hardy was my second purchase, after Piaf. To me, Piaf represented the 'old' France and Hardy the 'new'. Hardy's music is still so evocative of the times, it is a real time trip for those of us old enough to remember!My non-French-speaking friends love these songs as I do, for their rhythm and dance-ability. Pop at its best!"
