CD Reviews

Superb anthology
Edward L. Blank | Pittsburgh, PA | 12/09/2009
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Thoroughly enjoyable anthology of the 62 best-known recordings by the Four Lads, my favorite of the several excellent quartets that predated rock 'n' roll. This collection is a treasure trove lead by the biggest Four Lads hits ("Moments to Remember," "No Not Much," "Standing on the Corner," "Istanbul," "Who Needs You," "There's Only One of You," "The Mockingbird," et al), but also such fine recordings as "Happy Anniversary," "Guess What the Neighbors'll Say?," "I Just Don't Know" and "The `Bus Stop' Song" (A Paper of Pins) and so on. Highly recommended."
