"I'll never get tired of the Freshmen's 50's albums. If you buy only one, this is it. If you prefer albums as originally released, I recommend Five Trombones."

The Four Freshman in a league of their own.

"A fantastic collection of this fantastic group. This recording shows why the Four Freshmen set the high musical standard that many vocal groups have tried to imitate, but none were able to duplicate. These four guys backed many times by their own rich instrumental talent are in a league of their own.Great liner notes trace the history of the group and provide information on how Freshman fans can become part of their "fan club", the Four Freshman Society. Still going strong the fabulous Freshman sound is still with us 50 years after Stan Kenton first heard them and offered them their big break."
A must for any jazz/vocalist lover. Barbershoppers beware!!
