Album DescriptionNomadic singer-songwriter Faith Kleppinger presents No Galore, her sophomore release and the follow-up to her successful 2002 debut, Asleep in the Well. Faith picks up on No Galore where she left off on Asleep, with her trademark delicate, fragile vocals and quirky literary references set to dreamy melodies. What sets No Galore apart is that Faith plugs in! While maybe not as historically significant as Dylan plugging in at the '64 Newport Folk Festival, Faith does play a fair amount of electric guitar on the new record. The crunch of the guitar, along with the subtle textures of Faith's backing band, lend a new dynamic to her confessionals. No Galore was recorded in Bloomington, Indiana at Mike Bridavsky's Russian Recording. Faith surrounded herself with some of Bloomington's finest musicians to flesh out the record. Guests include Kenny Childers, Derek Richey, and Freda Love, who collectively have played with the likes of Velo Deluxe, Mysteries of Life, Brando, the Prom, Gentleman Caller, Some Girls, and the Blake Babies.
