"I've listened to many choral cds over the years, but this one, by far, is the best that I have ever had the pleasure of listening. It simulates an evensong complete with the lessons. The balance is great, the sound quality is exceptional. All choral music lovers should immediately purchase this cd."
Could have been a great recording

"I considered the only review available, and purchased, but found audibility real problem (on my Bose system). Sometimes it cannot be heard, then I have to hurry and turn it down before I blast my eardrums out. I have become familiar enough with the CD to just avoid a few of the tracks, though I wish that were not the case."
One of My Favorite Recordings

"As owner of more than a few choral recordings, predominately of the English / Anglican variety, I consistently come back to this particular recording for the quality of it's artistry and choral works. Really, it's hard to narrow down to any one selection -- from the setting of Psalm 27, to the gorgeous Magnificat & Nunc Dimitis and setting of Psalm 122 by Sowerby, not to mention the beautiful and little known excerpts from Christus by Mendelssohn, and the effective organ prelude, improvisation, and postlude -- it all adds-up to, in my humble opinion, a "must-have" for anyone who appreciates the finist of sacred choral literature. Even after to listening to it perhaps a hundred times, I can still recommend this one absolutely!"
