"I live in San Diego and heard about Emily and her song from the beginning. It's been quite a big deal on the local radio station Star100.7, who basically created the hype and played the "Be That Way" single. A big response lead the radio station to put out a full force campaign to get Emily a record deal.....it worked. Here's a young girl who wants to make it into the big leagues with Mandy Moore, Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson, being another under aged pop star singing about love, lust and heartbreak. So I listened... she has a decent voice and a pretty good beat but her sound is very similar to what is out there already. Although it has a catchy beat there's nothing unique about it. Her voice has potential but not strong enough yet to deliver true emotions. She does have an innocent quality that is attractive to the younger crowds, which is obviously her target audience. Does she have what it takes to make it.......not yet. So If you want to support a young girl and her dream buy the cd, otherwise wait and see what she does next."
