"If you are a fan of Eddie Cantor, Al Jolson (my favorite), or Old Time Radio, you will more than likely enjoy this CD. It is plenty long---3CD's for 3 hours worth of programming (6 shows). These are Eddie Cantor's shows with Jolson as a guest. The first CD was done in the later 30's with Jolson a guest on Cantor's "Texaco Time" comedy show. These shows (the first two) are sub-standard comedy (more silly than funny), and though they have been restored as well as possible, the sound quality is fair only. Here's the real treat: the last two hours (4 shows), which include Harry VonZell as announcer, and some of them feature Dinah Shore as well. Jolson's voice is clear, Cantor's comedy funnier, an all around good time. And don't forget the Mad Russian. So my "5 stars" are for the last two CD's; consider yourelf getting two CD's with the first one thrown in as a bonus."
