"I have been around for 41yrs & I have yet to see an artist who can top Donny Osmond. He is the genuine article, he has so much talent & finesse, yet he is overlooked. Soldier Of Love & Sacred Emotion are the most moving songs I have heard in a long time. Sacred Emotion can touch your soul in such a way that you lose yourself in the lyrics. Soldier Of Love is a move to the groove song, watch your step. My Love Is A Fire has the beat babe & you can understand the words. The lyrics make since, I love his music and his talk show & Marie Osmond completes that picture. Donny you are Rock-N-Roll with Soul keep up the good work & get goin guy we need some new tunes. Real music with meaning and style this Fan is for you. "Too-Tall""

"This is the CD to get to hear the best songs from Donny's last two releases before joining the cast of "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", the self titled "Donny Osmond" and it's follow up "Eyes Don't Lie". The #2 hit "Soldier Of Love" is here, a get ya dancin' tune that proved Donny wasn't down for the count. The beautiful "Sacred Emotion" is here too, with it's lush sound, and Donny's smooth ballad friendly voice sounds especially hot here. If you think that Donny Osmond still wears purple socks and sings "Puppy Love", listen again. Donny is a well rounded and versatile entertainer and singer. I recommend this CD, it will definately surprise you."
This is good material from a VERY talented singer.

"Donnie Osmond is simply one of the best singers out there. He nails the romantic ballad. Many people would be surprised that, despite his image, he has alot of soul. This collection is enough to make you want to hear more."
Brief Comeback But Eventful!

"This collection is significant for this major reason: it showed that Donny tried and tried and never gave up. "Soldier Of Love" brought Donny Osmond back to the Billboard charts for the first time in 14 years! In 1989, everyone liked this song but had no idea who the "mystery artist" was! A female DJ knew who he was but refused to reveal the name of the artist with the fear of people changing the radio stations! At the time, when people thought of the name "Donny Osmond", they would think of "pop poison", at least according to Donny on "Vh-1 Behind The Music"! He also revealed his lost years was between 1979-1989!
Obviously, this collection only highlights his 1989-1991 comeback so you are only getting the partial portrait of Donny. Highly recommended!"
