"I first saw the Demolition Doll Rods in Atlanta opening for the Cramps. They had no problem captivating the early comers to the show with their beautiful stage presence and Nasty sound. Their new cd Tasty is simply one of the best recordings on the market today. Thank God there are still bands out there, like the Dollrods, who can talk the talk and walk the walk. They deliver both in live and recorded performances! If you are wondering whatever happened to the heart of rock and roll, well I think these kids stabbed it, then crushed it under their feet and covered their instruments in the reamining blood and came up with the primal urge of what Rock and roll should sound like!Allen Gator (the Sexpots)"
One of the better recent beat-pop records i've heard

"Clearly influenced by 50's blues and rockabilly the doll rods show off their stuff in this album..among my favorites are their cover of Wild Child and Raw..but there isn't a bad track on the album reccomended for punk-beat lovers."
