CD Reviews

Serve with a glass of wine

"Although nearing the "end of the line" Dean shows he's not out of the game yet. Two solid mid seventies Dino albums on one cd makes this a good value. This cd is worth the money alone just to hear him sing "Smile". The cd is a good dose of old school standards (Ramblin Rose, Almost Like Being in Love, etc) with a of course romantic tender songs that Dean puts every inch of his heart into (I Wonder Who's Kissing Her Now, It's Magic, Once in a While, etc). For those getting a little tired with Dean's greatest hits this should remind them why there will never be another singer like Dean Martin."
A perfect treat!

"This CD mix Dean's smooth style of singing to astounding music. These two on one CD are a tribute to his early singing career with songs from the era of the 20s. Dean's voice doesn't sound any different than when he first started singing! He had a lot of other great cds like Houston, but this one is for you if you love the old standards."

"Did Dean Martin ever make a bad album? This is one of those wonders of the technology revolution in taking two albums originally released on vinyl and transferring them to CD. The production is excellent and the songs will take you back to the fifties and sixties if you can remember that far back. Thanks Dean."
