"When this show came to the Alley Theater in Houston, my wife and I were enthralled with the richness and fullness of these songs especially "A New Life", sung by Linda Eder. Although very much enjoying the songs before it, "A New Life" brought both of us to the edges of our seats in rapt attention, gripped with powerful emotion. Since hearing this song 15 years ago, it has never lost its power to move me to the brink of tears.



We are all captives of our experience, and this song lets each of us believe that, in the future, our lives may be bright and shining, regardless of what went before.



As for the other discs of this show, I simply consider them disappointing, as many other reviewers have also stated."
