"I am not an officianado of Cole Porter or of music generally, but I liked this CD very much. The singers are all representative of people who would have been singing his music in the era, which is what I wanted. Ex: Ethel Merman, Ann Miller, Sinatra, Garland etc. Also, there are some Hollywood types: Marlene Dietrich sings, " You Do Something To Me", Howard Keel and Kathryn Grayson sing some duets and Ann Miller (is mentioned above.) Cole Porter himself sings some titles which is a treat, even though his voice was not that of a trained singer! I was also relieved to finally find " Let's Misbehave" finally on a collection. I am just discovering Cole Porter and found this to be an excellent introduction. Highly recommended."
