Good stuff, if unspectacular...

"Upon initial guess, based on the title and album cover, you might think that this album contains Christmas duets featuring Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby. Instead, this is a collection of ten Christmas songs, performed by either Bing or Frank, but unfortunately never together.
How can these two crooners not receive a five-star review? First, the album is way too short, with only ten tracks, totaling just over thirty minutes (and that includes a ten minute medley from Holiday Inn). Second, several of the cuts (like Sinatra on "O Little Town of Bethlehem/Silent Night") are, to be frank, rather boring. These guys are great singers, but they need an arrangement that allows them to do something. For instance, Bing's "Jingle Bells" is probably my favorite recording of that rather mediocre song. I wish each track had that much energy.
In any case, you can't go wrong with Sinatra and Crosby and Christmas music. Though this isn't one of my absolute favorites, we're always happy to listen to this album each Christmas season!!"
Frank and Bing were a great duo

"Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra were great together as well as individually, and this CD proves it once more. With many of the great Christmas standards here, this CD makes for terrific listening."
