"You may dislike the artists for whatever your dumb reasons are...because I'll take a WILD GUESS SOME OF YOU REVIEWERS don't even know them and they aren't completely judging the music quality.
My review is based solely on the music:
This cd is an all-around great holiday cd for the WHOLE family to sit back and enjoy. I know when I played this in the car while driving with my dad and he's a little over double my age, he enjoyed it. The vocal quality definitely shows growth among the girls. Adrienne's voice still proves to be the strongest. Although they are bright, the majority of Americans wouldn't know what I meant by that...and the majority of musicians on record labels sing bright...and the record was designed for children...so with that said, I doubt anyone really minds it.
1.) Five More Days 'Til Christmas: This is a fun, upbeat intro in the cd. [A Personal Favorite]
2.) Santa Claus Is Coming To Town: The Cheetah version of this has a pop-rock inspired vibe to it. The kids should like this song.
3.) The Perfect Christmas: I love this song. When you listen to it, it feels like it's moving. It changes tempo and shows off the girls' vocal ranges. It just a really good, upbeat, happy song that makes you think about the holidays and why you like it.
4.) The Cheetah-Licious Christmas: This is definitely made for the kids with the "Cheetah-licious"...but another uplifting, upbeat Christmas song. I like the ending when they start to spell out "Christmas."
5.) A Marshmallow World: Your little kid will enjoy this one. It's fun to sing.
6.) Christmas In California: I like this song. But it's not realistic for all Californians. If people heard this song and never been here during the winter, they'll get the wrong impression that we surf all the time too. California gets cold and rains in the winter. If you disregard that a lot of this song isn't applicable to all Californians, it's a good, fun song to sing.
7.) No Ordinary Christmas: I love this song. You just want to dance and sing. [A Personal Favorite]
8.) All I Want For Christmas Is You: Most people will think that remaking a Mariah Carey song is crazy because not many people can reach her octave. But the Cheetahs proved otherwise; they made this classic song into their own version. They slowed it down and added the "baby baby"...It's a good remake...not like the original but a good song they turned into their own. [A Personal Favorite]
9.) This Christmas: [A Personal Favorite]
10.) I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus: I enjoy singing this song. Towards the end it gives the illusion it's going to end but it doesnt. It's just a cute song. [A Personal Favorite]
11.) The Simple Things: I my favorite part is when they go "It's all about, all about, the simple things..."
12.) Last Christmas: "Last Christmas" HAS GOT TO BE MY ALL-TIME FAVORITE ON THIS RECORD!! The girls did a WONDERFUL job in remaking a classic of George Michael. They made it their own. If you've never heard the original version, you'll be pleased with just hearing this version. It's shortened, but don't let that trick into thinking you're getting cheated out of a classic. For all the 3LW fans, this should be your favorite because it DEFINITELY has a 3LW presence and feel to it. It was just a beautiful song (kudos George Michael)...beautifully remade (kudos The Cheetahs). [MY PERSONAL FAVORITE]
13.) Feliz Navidad: It has a salsa feel to it. I like it. =) [A Personal Favorite]
All in all, if you need help deciding on buying this for your child, it's worth your money. You don't have to worry about content being inappropriate. They are all family songs. I have 7/13 that are my favorite. I'm beyond the Cheetahs direct audience, so that may play a factor as to which songs I enjoyed more. But with that said, it's a great record. It's worth it; it's been playing in my cd player and ipod non-stop.=D"
Great Family Christmas CD.

"That "crazy white girl" is Sabrina Bryan. Get a good taste of her on "Radio Disney Move It." I am also sad that Raven left the group, but the Cheetahs are still great!"
Perfect "FUN" Christmas album

"The reason why I'm rating this album 5 stars is because I'm not comparing it to tradition Christmas records like Perry Como or Mariah Carey. This album is a perfect blend of pop bounce and Christmas sweetness. Don't expect the best vocalists in the world on this album, but more R&B singing style on most of these songs, but it's very consistent. I'm listening to it right now and I'm on track 11 of 13 I believe. There's several songs that are new to me like "Five More Days 'Til Christmas," and "No Ordinary Christmas," but that just makes the songs more interesting because they're Christmas songs that have new lyrics to me. The Cheetah Girls tackle "All I Want for Chrismtas" but with a slower pace and easy breezy vocals that don't try to be what they're not. They know their limitations and strengths, which is evident on their cover of George Michael's "Last Christmas," where their style sounds perfect on the track."
