"I was raised in a family of musicians and weaned on Presley,Tom Jones,Nat King Cole, and Tony Bennett, but can still recall Mom bringing home the 33,1/3 version of "My Buddy". Took an instant liking to Lady is a Tramp and proceeded to work on it with my band the next day!!! So it was a foregone conclusion that when I spotted it on the amazon.com list, it found its way to my cart.Greco is a brilliant vocalist, polished,with a great diction that oozes out of every number.This is one of those CD's that you can purchase based on a review and, even if you are more into Rock,Blues or Jazz, will gain tons of pleasure listening to an artist of note."

"On this CD, you get two of Buddy's least repulsive LP's from 1960, My Buddy and On Stage. Highlights include a warm version of Misty and a hip version of Like Young. Greco is often associated with cheezy Las Vegas lounge singers(which is what he is), however on these tasteful sessions(yet still incredibly loungy and crazy) you hear a great jazz tinged vocalist. Buy this CD if you want the good Buddy Greco, to seek out additional Greco CD's wil not nessicarily bring you any good singing."

"This is great stuff. From 'The Best Man', 'Get me to the church', to 'Like young'. Bonus track Buddy's minor hit 'Mr. Lonely'. I also love his piano pieces, 'I can't get started' and 'Misty'.Nice backing from Sam Scafidi-Bobby Marinello and Dick Palombi.Viva Las Vegas!"
