"Blackmore's Night is like a dream come true for me. As a longtime fan of both Ritchie Blackmore and Medieval and Renaissance music, what could be better than a merging of the two? This was the debut of this amazing band, first released in '97.



Mr. Blackmore devotes all the brilliant talent he's given to rock music for 35 years and brings music from another time to life. He's as skilled a player as ever, just playing a different style, and it works! The band are talented, and Candace Night has a beautiful clear voice and a style that touches all the emotions. I can't begin to describe how good I feel listening to this album (or any other by Blackmore's Night). His music still transports you to mystical places, just brighter happier realms than in the old days.



I highly recommend this or any album by Blackmore's Night. Ritchie gave us an indication while in Deep Purple and Rainbow that he liked this style of music. I'll always have his old albums to jam to, and that music will always have a special place in my heart, but I love the direction his music's taken, and I don't think I'm alone.
