"For years I searched and searched for this CD to no avail. In passing, I mentioned to a good friend how much this album and meant to myself as a child, as well as my mother when she was young. After hours of searching the net, my friend discovered this very same story, under the title, "The Christmas Story; a Holiday Musical told and sung by Bing Crosby". I could not believe she found it!So if you are like me, and could never seem to come across How Lovely is Christmas, just look for it under a new name!"
I'm psyched!!!

"As a young boy I wore this album out. I introduced this timeless story to my family 15 years ago. Every Christmas I would play my old crackley LP that was barely audible to my children's delight. I was so excited when my wife found the re-mastered CD. This Christmas story is a family experience, time tested and proof that family values are still as important today as they were a generation ago."
Oh Joy!

"35 years ago my little boy, Paul, would have to hear "An axe, an apple and a buckskin jacket" almost every night before he went to sleep after he first heard it. The cover had illustrations of all the songs. The record eventually wore out and was put away. I have looked for this recording and am thrilled to find it so that my son's children can also enjoy it. It brings back many happy memories!"
40 years of enjoyment

"My parents bought this LP when I was about 7 or 8 years old. As I read the other reviews, they mirror my experience with this treasure. I played this record over and over until it was practically worn out. I was delighted to find this on CD, and it has enabled me to share this joyous experience with my wife, who had never heard it before, and my children. If you treasure Christmas, and enjoy Bing Crosby, this CD is worth its' weight in gold tinsel..."
I'm so excited to finally find this again

"Thirty some years ago my parents bought the album and it's been a family favorite ever since. Of course the original album has been taped and retaped numerous times. It's now a holiday favorite of my 9 year old sons'. Every year I've looked for it and here it is. Oh how wonderful"
