One of the Best Christmas Albums Ever!
03/27/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)
"I usually have a problem with "celebrity" Christmas albums because they tend to just be a cash-in on the holiday, but this one is different. For one thing, it's closer to a jazz album than a pop album, and it sounds warm and cozy. Great songs, wonderful guests, and a great finale - Barry & 39 overdubs doing "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" that mixes Barry, the Carpenters, and the Beach Boys into one song! One of the best Christmas albums of all time!"
