Fresh treatment of familiar carols, plus some less familiar ones. I especially like what they've done with Carol of the Bells. that is one that can be so annoying. But BarlowGirl has made it beautiful.

Great Christmas CD

"Although this is certainly not what I was expecting, it is a treat.

As Barlowgirl is a band that normally rocks with the best of them, I was expecting rock and roll versions of these Christmas tunes. It is not that.

Rather, these are done in the classic style of holiday songs. Combined with the beautiful voices and superb harmonies of Barlowgirl and it becomes a real work of art. All of these songs are very good. There are no weak links. The Barlow sisters have demonstrated that they are very diverse along with being great rockers.

If you want a great Christmas CD, this would be a good one to get."

"i was surprised to find a christmas cd that didn't sound like all the others. barlowgirl turned in a fresh aproach to some old favorites. one that really caught my attention for it's unique sound was "o little town of bethlehem". i found myself listening to this cd over and over."
