"It's remarkable that Anita O'day at her age still sounds as sensual and her phrasing so clear and jazzy, she just keeps getting beeter with age. This is as good as any(if not better)record she's made for Verve. Good music..."

"Anita O'day is still going strong, on this live session she shows how much she's matured since her Verve years in the 1950'ss her phrasing is immaculate and she takes plenty of chances in this very jazz oriented set. This is essential music for any serious jazz collector."

"This is by far one of Anita O'Day's finest sessions, she sounds better then ever and in top form. Her phrasing is heavenly and her scatting a joy to hear, if you like jazz singing this is for you. Highlights are "Yesturday/Yesturdays" and "Sposin." Recommended to all who like good music."

"O'Day sounds excited and happy to be backed by an all star jazz combo, singing standards and taking many chances with her unique jazz phrasing. This is one of her more essential later sessions. I would reccomend this to anyone who enjoys good jazz singing. Consumer Guidism: If Anita O'Day's name is on the cover of the CD buy it!"
