"This was my first album from this over looked jazz vocalist. I was very impressed. She has a close, intimate style. Stand outs for me were her versions of I Cover the Waterfront and You Don't Know What Love Is. She imbues both with a wonderful world weariness without a hint of cynicism. A good balance. This compilation has made me want to check out more cds by this artist."
