ANOTHER FINE SONY IMPORT

(5 out of 5 stars)

"Columbia/Sony is doing this "two-fer" thing with style and class for many of its artists (apparently they HAVE been for some time, see the extensive Doris Day collections, not to mention CDs for Tony Bennett, Jerry Vale and Johnny Mathis) Complete with original liner notes and digitally remastered, these two fine old LPs can now go to the Salvation Army once you order the compact disc format! Bottom line, Andy's reading of the haunting "HOLLY" is one of the most moving songs I've ever heard by any performer, hands down. You'll also enjoy his takes on "IT'S A MOST UNUSUAL DAY" and the Sammy Davis signature "WHAT KIND OF FOOL AM I?", which Andy handles with fervor without trying to upstage Sammy. Again, keep checking what Sony UK is doing, they're promising more of these great two-fers in the future, and this is one disc all great music fans will appreciate!"
