"This is far from being the strongest collection of their music but includes a wonderful mix of their famous hits, their covers of other hits and some of their lesser-known hits that only turn up on compilations occasionally. There are a few duets, variously featuring Bing Crosby, Bob Hope and Les Paul.
The set opens with one of their famous hits, Bei mir bist du schon, and closes with an even more famous hit, Boogie woogie bugle boy. Other major hits to be found here include Ciribiribin (with Bing Crosby), Hold tight, Beer barrel polka (better known as Roll out the barrel), Well all right, Straighten up and fly right, Rumors are flying (with Les Paul) and The blond sailor, all of which made the American top ten. Another top ten hit, The blond sailor, is a particularly welcome inclusion as it seems to be omitted from most compilations. House of blue lights, a top twenty hit, is another comparative rarity included here.
The collection also features the Andrews sisters' versions of such classics as Alexander's ragtime band, Let a smile be your umbrella and Lullaby of Broadway, while Bob Hope joins the sisters on Sonny boy.
No liner notes are provided but this is an interesting collection, especially for committed Andrews sisters fans like me. It also provides a good introduction to their music for those unfamiliar with their music though a lot of big hits are missing."

"This 2 disc collection has a bunch of Andrews Sisters classics, and goes well with the 50th Anniversary collections vol. 1 & 2.
