"I purchased this 3-cd set from Amazon.com.uk before it came out in the U.S. and really enjoy it. The first disc is probably my favorite (it has an incredible group of hits), but the other two are not bad - although why we need Barbra Streisand singing "Memory" when Elaine Paige does the definitive version on the first disc I will never understand.
This set actually contains some songs I have never heard before such as Elvis Presley's "It's Easy for You", Duncan James/Keebie with "I Believe My Heart" (gorgeous), and the Everly Brothers "Cold". The rendition of "Unexpected Song" by Sarah Brightman was lovely, but John Barrowman's "Sunset Boulevard" was lacking (I far prefer Kevin Anderson's voice on the original soundtrack). And I didn't mind Alice Cooper's version of "King Herod's Song" - not great but not bad either - and Andrea Ross's version of "Learn To Be Lonely" is very smooth and soothing.
All in all, a very well-rounded look at Lloyd Webber's work thus far. It says in the notes that a future collection will be out called "Andrew Lloyd Webber: Superstar - The Definitive Collection" which I'll be interested in checking out, but in the meantime this 3-cd set is a wonderful addition to my music library.
Edit: Sorry, I meant Alan Campbell's version of "Sunset Boulevard" from the 1994 Los Angeles Cast - not Kevin Anderson (London)."

"I am disappointed in the overall quality of this CD set. For the price, I think it could have been produced on a higher professional standard."
