I'm not saying this is a good or bad idea, I just think it's really interesting. To celebrate Earache Records 25th Anniversary, they are offering a special custom 8GB flash drive with 1,900 tracks from their catalog for $159.99. They claim that if you compare the $159 price to buying them one-by-one on iTunes, the iTunes price would be $2,400.00. They say it includes the classics from the 90's like Morbid Angel & Carcass to lots of present-day extreme metal. Here's the link if you want to check it out. Personally, I think it's really interesting. I certainly don't have the money for that. My only thing is it doesn't say if and/or how many complete full albums are on the stick, or if it really is like a handful of the best songs from every album. |
