Topic: Can anyone explain the lack of updates for the database?

Picking a random band that I follow, I see the database shows no new releases since 2009. In actuality, they've released three CDs since then. Is the system just kind of hit and miss as to which artists get updated? I thought everything was based on Amazon's db, but maybe that changed at some point. |

Hey Wade, if you try searching for that UPC (barcode of the release) or the ASIN (Amazon's database entry ID) do those releases come up? |

Yes -- good thought, use ASIN as a keyword -- I have found this sometimes shakes out a new entry that can't be found by search. Wade, I don't know that updates are formal, regular or publicly announced, but they have happened in the past. Couldn't hurt to just ask the Team. I'd love to know the answer to that myself so do tell if you find out anything! |
