"This cd is probably THE best album EVER. The lyrics are honest, the music is awesome, and the girls in Zoegirl are living a *Zoe* life. A god-kind of life. These lyrics have totally changed me. I now see life in a whole new way and I now love life! And I have grown in my faith, too. ANYONE needs to buy this album!!!!!!!"
This is one of my FAVORITE cds!

"I LOVE this cd. It's got incredible lyrics, music, and voices! What more can you ask for?? My favorite songs are With All Of My Heart, Dismissed, R U Sure About That?, Plain, Nick of Time, and Forever 17. But I really love them all1 It's rare that I find a cd I can listen all the way through without skipping a single song but I've found that in this album! The song listings above are all mixed up though! There are no songs on the album titled Save Myself or I'll Try! And if you want to know, the correct order is
1. With All Of My Heart
2. Even If
3. Dismissed
4. Waiting
5. R U Sure About That?
6. Ordinary Day
7. Plain
8. Nick Of Time
9. Forever 17
10. Here And Now
11. The Truth
Hope this was helpful! :)"
Well done!

"ZOEgirl's talents shine brightly in their latest CD: Life. Beautifully done pop-sounding songs such as "With all of my Heart" and "Even If" give off powerful and touching lyrics. For instance, if you think about it, we are living in tough times. Being a Christian can be tough, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, but the song "Even If" states that "...if what's left of me is taken, I will not be shaken." These lyrics reminded me of Skillet's song "Invincible." The lyrics stating, "I'm Invincible...I'm Unshakeable...You know you just can't kill a man ready to stand, you know the spirit survives..." And the entire Aquire the Fire season for 2002 is about becoming "Unshakeable." Even if you can't attend these special ATF rallies, you could become "unshakeable" by singing along with ZOEgirl's "Even If" song and believing the lyrics with all your heart! It's a great wake-up call for us Christians! ZOEgirl adds a short yet sweet ending: The ABCs on making God your personal savior (actually, only A,B,C, and D...but still clever). My verdict is that ZOEgirl has created a more personalized CD, one that many of us can relate to through the lyrics. If you are a new Christian, or already a strong Christian, you'd like this CD. It helped me grow closer to God, because I, believed the lyrics with all my heart. ( no punn intended! =o) )"
Awesome album

"I got this CD simply for the song "Plain" when it vanished from the radio waves, but now its one of my favorite CDs of all time. In particular, I find "Even If" and "Ordinary Day" to be great exercise songs (walk to the beat of one of them and see what I mean). "With All Of My Heart" is a great song, but it was kinda overplayed and that took a lot away from it. "Even If" is catchy, true to life, and as I said before, an awesome exercise song. "Dismissed" I wasn't crazy about in the beginning, but after some personal experiences it has become one of my top favorites on the album. "Waiting" was the first song besides the two from the radio that I really got to know, and it's still one of my favorites. "R U Sure About That" is okay (particularly like the intro), but it's taken me longer to get into that one. "Ordinary Day" ranks as another one of my top favorites. The beat and message of that song can almost always bring my mood up. "Plain," as I mentioned before, was one of my favorites on the radio and didn't get close to the amount of airtime it should have. The message is something that more people need to pay closer attention to. "Forever 17" I have to be in the mood for, but most of the time I find it beautiful and touching. The rest of the songs I don't know too well yet, but I'm learning them. Finally, the intro to this album is top notch. I like how they introduce the "Life..." bit. Buy this CD; believe me, its worth every penny."
Great debut. Stellar follow-up. And the future looks bright.

"Life is the follow-up to ZOEgirl's self-titled debut. The debut was great. Worshipful lyrics with great dance beats made their debut great. Their follow-up, Life, however, is stellar. The girls matured into better songwriters, musicians, and vocalists with Life. And Life also saw them transform from three people who barely knew each other to extremely tight friends....almost sisters. My last few Amazon reviews have strayed from my usual review formula, but not this one. Here's a track-by-track view.1. With All Of My Heart - Great song. The girls say that they will worship God with everything they have. The song has an excellent R&B beat. 10/102. Even If - Sounds like a song that was made for the debut, but was a bit too edgy to fit in. 10/103. Dismissed - Awesome beats and great edgy lyrics. The girls will not let Satan/that guy over there/whoever get them down. They're dismissed. Gone. 10/104. Waiting - After all those hard beats, it's time to relax. Waiting is very soothing, but still very upbeat. It talks about how God is always waiting for us to accept His love. 9/105. R U Sure About That - Ehhhh, I could do without this. Good message, but the music annoys me. 7/106. Ordinary Day - This definitely sounds like someone took an unfinished track from the debut and edged it up for this album, and it's an awesome track. The acoustic guitar is a nice touch. The song is basically about allowing God to help you deal with the craziness of day-to-day life. 9/107. Plain - This song isn't just for insecure teenage girls. Insecure teenage boys like me can get a lot out of it. It tells us that God made us the way we are, and that God doesn't make mistakes. 10/108. Nick Of Time - Same case as R U Sure About That, except the music is even more annoying here. 5/109. Forever 17 - My favorite. An incredibly sad track dealing with death is probably one of the most emotional tracks, if not THE most emotional track they ever made. The song was co-written by Chrissy and Alisa after a 17-year-old girl in Chrissy's hometown was killed by a drunk driver and gives the view of a 17-year-old who is dying. 20/1010. Here And Now - After the emotion of Forever 17, you need the cheering up, and Here And Now is a very upbeat song with a nice beat and is basically a "We will worship God" song. 10/1011. The Truth - The song basically tells us that searching for answers is not in vain, and that through God, we will find the truth. 8/10Overall, this is a stellar follow-up to their debut album. Their next studio, Different Kind Of Free, documents their continuing growth as artists and friends and sisters in Christ."
