"Z-Ro's (AKA Joseph Wayne McVey) releases his eleventh solo album with "Still Living" (2006), a fifteen track joint that has guest appearances from Trae, Tanya Herron P.O.P., Bun B, Lil Keke and Big Hawk (R.I.P.). Houston's Z-Ro opens the album up with the highly impressive "City Streets", an exceptional track where Z-Ro delivers dope rhyme after rhyme while talking about the struggle to survive, and lacing the cut with an addictive chorus. Z-Ro then collaborates with Tanya Herron on the heartfelt "Continue to Roll", which is a Hip Hop remake (beat, chorus) of P.M. Dawn's "Set Adfrift on Memory Bliss" . Z-Ro addresses his lyrics and standout chorus towards the cops on "T.H.U.G." (True Hero Under God). Z-Ro, Trae and P.O.P. provide a strong track with the thugged out "M16". Z-Ro continues to deliver the goods with the ride or die "Keep On". "Let the Truth Be Told" is one of the album's darkest and most deep cuts, Z-Ro and Lil Keke provide an outstanding and memorable cut. Z-Ro does his own version of Scarface's "Man Cry", and looks for a brighter day on "No More Pain". Z-Ro takes some time to talk to the ladies on "Homie, Lover and Friend", then provides another stellar track with "Love Ain't Live" reflecting on days past, and his everyday struggles. The album's final track "Battlefield" has Ro teaming up with singer Tanya Herron on a Hip Hop remake of "Love is a Battlefield". Z-Ro's "Still Living" is a quality release worth adding to the collection."

"Why the hell is Rap-a-Lot not promoting this fabulous artist more?
This guy is so talented. Love ain't Live pays for the album itself.
Never have i heard hooks so melodic and stunning.
This guy is a diamond in the rough.
trust me, this is man who defines hip hop, and music in general.
its like 2pac, smokey robinson, and ray charles in one.
I hate making comparisons, but this guy really soars above the stink of most hip hop.
He's constantly going to jail for something, and this is a shame.
If anyone deserves stardom, its Z-Ro.
Forget the old recordings. His growth as a musician is evident.
Buy it people!"
