Good stuff... but not as good as Meditations.

"Nocturnes is the sister album to Meditations, its sequel. It is brooding dark mood music; stark and oblique. Piano chords stab like stars in the midnight hush of horns and flutes. Soft, wordless, vocals evoke the infinite volume of night in the heavens. Nocturnes is soothing but not as surreal as Meditations. Meditations makes much better use of abstract sounds to paint a sound scape that is seen as well as it is heard. Get Meditations first. Nocturnes is for fans."
