"Thuglord:The New Testement is anther Classic under Yuk's belt. From the blazin title track "Thuglord" to "New Testement" a track that will make the most thugged out head shed a tear. "We Gone Ride" featuring the Outlawz(Fatal,Napolean,Young Noble,& E.D.I.) & "Regime Killers 2001" are gonna make alot of fake thugs hire more security. "Puffin Lah","OOh Boy","OOh,OOh",&"Clap Ya Hands" will have your head nodin until Yuk's next album drops. "Do It Right" & "Smile" are Yukmouth at his best. Blazin tracks, beats, and the most gangsta apperences possible in hip hop today(Outlawz,C-Bo,Phatts Bossi,Tech n9ne,Kool G Rap,C.J.Mac). This Album is CLASSIC.Cop it........Dun Deal"

"Its a beautiful thing when rappers evolve lyrically. Yukmouth was almost there with his first album now he is full circle. Thug Lord was a great track to start off the album with because it was vintage Yukmouth spitting. Oh Boy, Ooh Ooh and Worlds Most Hated are all highlights. On We Gone Ride(featuring Fatal Hussein and The Outlawz) shots are thrown at Mobb Deep, Lil Cease and Murda Inc. C-Bo makes two stellar appearances. One on Do It Right and the other on Smile(also feat CJ Mac). The New Testament Outro is beautiful because its a 100 Bars song about Yukmouth's life story. Filler: High Maintanance which features Lil Mo stinks plus who told Lil Mo she could rap anyway? Puffin lah sounds like some Project Pat type of joint(Literally) and Clap Your hands was commercial blunder that should have never seen the light of day. So Ignorant feat Kurupt and nate Dogg is also garbage. Bottom Line: Yukmouth is one of the nicest emcees out of Cali since Xzibit and he proves that with this album. Even though most of Yuk's albums tend to be questionable this one was his best effort and also adds him to the list of underrated emcees. Standout tracks:THUG LORD, OH BOY, WE GONE RIDE, THUG MONEY, DO IT RIGHT, WORLDS MOST HATED, OOH OOH, REGIME KILLERS 2001(Master P and Too Short diss), SMILE and NEW TESTAMENT OUTRO."
