"I just had to write another review. Even though I think this is still a great CD, they really need to do something with that one soprano. Listen carefully to "Spirit" and "Deliver". She sounds awful and she makes the whole section sound bad. I also feel that they pushed the envelope too much when it comes to the constant modulations(i.e.-"Song of Praise"). It just sounds like they're screaming. They have great range, but the control and the blend are just not the same when you compare them with James Hall or Ricky Dillard's choirs. As one reviewer noted...everything in moderation. Anyway, I still love the album and the music is tight also."
A Must Have!!!

"If you like James Hall and em',Ricky Dillard and New G, you'll love Youthful Praise. This is another group of East Coast rocka's (among James Hall and Woship & Praise, Eric McDaniels, Hezekiah Walker and Love Fellowship, etc) that will leave you staring at them speechless and shocked! When I first heard them @ a concert, I studied them so hard and was lookin like, what?! That's how awesome they are! They have such a high register, it don't make no sense (In a good way). They have been often IMITATED by many choirs, but never DUPLICATED. Everybody and they group has performed the single, "Awesome God." My favorite cut is, "Deliver." I highly reccomend this to anyone. This album has truly ministered to me. Listen to their lyrics and think about the Word of God, its truly transparent.
Awesome God is a studybook for true gospel music lovers.Anaysha Figerou, the sister of Timminey Figerou (formerly of Love Fellowship Crusade Choir) is with Youthful Praise now.Youthful Praise's new album is goin' to be off the chain. I already heard a few songs off of it and you are definitely in for another mass of vibratic-lace vocals.
I am Youthful Praise #1 fan."

"From the first song Deliver to the last song Great and Greatly this album my Youthful Praise is a time of high praise. The unity in the voices and the wonderful harmony that these young people have is amazing. The message in these songs are so powerful and the way that they are performed there is no way tha you can't feel something when listening to this cd. This cd is good for the young people at church because these upbeat songs provide a way for you to sing for the glory of God as well as have fun and most of all deliver the good news of Jesus Christ."

"I purchased this CD two days ago and I must say that, without a doubt, this is one of the best gospel albums out currently. When I listened to it, it reminded me of James Hall and W&P's first album. I only hope that they stay with this particular style. Youthful Praise gives you everything.....excellent musicianship, well-written material, and the choir is tight. Are you kidding me? This is their first album? I don't believe that. Plus like one of the reviewer's mentioned, there is no studio-recorded, r&b sounding tracks that waste precious album space on many projects. Everything is live or the live atmosphere is simulated(made up). This album is great from start to finish. The only problem is that you may not get to the end, because to me it seemed like the album was really long. However, to the CD's credit, I had to hear the last song. This is definitely a must have. Be Blessed"
