CD ReviewsYoung rome is tight bobbie | Ga, USA | 07/09/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "he's always been talented in his immature days but to see him branching out on his on and doing tight stuff like this album is great. He has all different types of songs on there from party to inspirational. Get this CD so you can dance or just relax to." Well worth the wait Nicole Burns | Columbia, SC USA | 06/23/2004 (5 out of 5 stars) "well i must say that this cd is definantly worth the wait. Rome's cd is so much on the level of how positive rap should be without being labeled a "sell out" or "weak". "I Don't Care", "Best Days", and "Look Down on Me" are the ABOLUTLEY POSITIVELY best somes on the cd, I love it!!!!! You can tell from the lyrics that he had grown as a person and after going through all of what he explained how could you not. You don't have to be just a IMx, Immature, B2K, or TUG fan to enjoy this cd. I think that once people hear this they will be able to accept a new member into their precious "rap game". Please buy it, don't burn it--this is an album to be reckoned with!!!!!" Why is this CD so highly rated? goostinrox4eva | 08/13/2007 (1 out of 5 stars) "I was expecting an outstanding CD due to all of the positive reviews about it on this website so when I listened to it, I thought it was the wrong CD.
I can't believe I'm the first user to not praise this album. Don't get me wrong, I love both r&b and rap but this guy sounds like almost any other rapper out there. Young joc, Ying Yang Twins, all of the beats sound the same too. His lyrics are boring. I just don't see anything that stands out. This CD isn't horrible but I don't think I could listen to any of these songs for a whole three minutes. if you like mainstream rap, then its worth checking out. otherwise, save your money or atleast listen to the samples first." |
