Synopsis

Album Description

Limited edition 2007 digitally remastered and expanded three CD set that features a bonus disc that contains five rare BBC recordings not featured on the two CD version. Drawing together the band's album, Colossal Youth, and all of their singles for the first time on a triple disc set in deluxe slipcase with 32 page booklet. Contains extensive sleeve notes and photographs. The album is a brilliant piece of '80's Post Punk and quickly became on of Rough Trade records best sellers at the time of its release. The band went onto release a number of EP's before they split up, to everyone?s dismay. The band have gone on to influence a number of important acts such as Arcade Fire and Belle & Sebastian amongst others. Domino.

"I loved the Collosal Youth album back in the early 80's and to now have this collection is vital. A classic album the music haunts my memories past and present. If music were this beautiful then lot's of the over produced stuff today would be better off. Raw and ripe this music bites and allows you to join the taste.
