Liszt childhood pieces brought to life

"This is probably the most interesting of the 57 volumes in the "Complete Piano Music" series by Leslie Howard.Many of the pieces are recorded here for the first time ever. Hyperion and Howard have done a great job obtaining many pieces thought lost and Hyperion certainly chose the right pianist for their recordings.Here we hear all of Liszt's childhood pieces and I was thrilled by many of them. It's facinating to see how Liszt developed and by listening to these cd's you'll gain great insight to this genius' later works as well.A double cd filled with curious and delightful pieces. A must have for Liszt fans."
