Young Jeezy is hardly breaking new ground in rapping endlessly about the similarities between the trap game and the rap game. He joins a distinguished line of former 'caine slangers turned MC--Scarface, Jay-Z, the Clipse, ... more »Biggie, etc. However, despite the familiarity of Jeezy's topics, this Atlanta rapper has managed to make a bi-coastal splash through the strength of his mic presence and charisma. As the stand-out member of ATL's Boyz N Tha Hood, Jeezy has distinguished himself against the field of contemporary rappers. More rugged than the Game, though not as charming as Cam'ron, Jeezy's work-horse flow and lyrics are draped into evocative street-level realism. Though the Southern influence is obvious in many of the album's bounce and crunk-influenced beats, he shows an impressive diversity of sound selection including on his current street anthems for this summer like"Trap Star," "My Hood," and the sublimely melancholy "Go Crazy." -- Oliver Wang« less

"YEEEEAAAAAHHHHHHH! As a member of Boyz N da Hood, releasing his own solo debut album was a great career move. Young Jeezy's new album is on fire! With his own style and catchy lyrics, this guy has definitely stepped into the rap game very strong. From collaborating with several other heavy hitters in the industry such as; Mannie Fresh, T.I., Akon, just to name a few, Jeezy's new album was destined for success. The Snowman is all over the airways with hits such as "And Then What", "Soul Survivor", and "Air Forces". This album can be listened to anytime and anywhere, it's definitely a head banger. I highly recommend this CD to any one who loves rap music. The summer was hot, but the "Snowman" is here to stay."

"Young Jeezy continues to impress as the next big gangsta rapper out of the ATL, and this CD is no exception. "Soul Survivor" and "Air Forces" are definite jewels."

"His sounds are different than one might expect, but the beats are what got me on it. I call this CD my "ridin music," it doesn't leave my CD player. Tracks 1-3 are always on repeat. I suggest you play it with a lot of bass to get the full effects, you'll find your head will be bouncin to it. The Game betta step it up............"
