"If you are from Australia and listen to Triple J radio then this album has been the soundtrack to your life during the late 90s and early 00s.
You Am I is a bloody great little aussie rock band, very ocker at times, but a little bohemic at others - who can go past larrikan Tim Rogers for great songwriting. I'm not sure if American listeners will dig them, but I know Pommie rockers would eat it up
Tim Rogers's lyrics evoke suburban australian citylife, especially Sydney and Melbourne, and I can't seem to get enough of them. I highly recommend this 'best of' album to anyone who wants a taste of aussie home grown, but doesn't want to collect all the You Am I albums. While you're at it, check out their new album, "Convicts" - it's a rippa from the start to the finish, possibly the best You Am I album to date.
But this is the album if you want to get the hits that you would hear at an You Am I concert - much more Cream than Crock in my book - check it out for yourself!
