The title of this CD got my attention, as one of my all-time favorite harp albums is of the same title, performed by Susann McDonald, who, BTW, who has taught master classes attend by the artist. This recording covers some of the same selections on Ms McDonald's album, but has the advantage of Telarc recording. When the stunning Malaguena is thrown into the mix, this becomes my new favorite The Romantic Harp, and perhaps, my favorite harp album, period. I must compliment Telarc for their excellent micing and recording of the fine finger work on this album. This finger work will separate the sheep from the goats in evaluating audio systems, BTW." |
