"Alot of people talk about yngwie like it's all about him. True in fact it maybe all about him but the smarter one knows that yngiwe picks certain musicians and certain volaist for certain albums...
Which of course gives it a certain SOUND.. Are ya getting it now people?? Sure yngwie plays like himself on this CD just like every other one of his cd's because he is HIMSELF! He's not gonna quit playing guitar so people who like Nirvana will like him... and God bless him for that..
For this release we have some of the best material recorded live by him with one of the best vocalists he's ever worked with who is Mats Leven!
I dont know how many of you seen the Video/DVD of this performance but it's spectatular! Mats Leven has no worries and takes the stage just like he should.. he's smiling and singing his heart out for you...
yngiwe as always absolutly tears it up.. It's very hard to describe how musch of a pro he is on stage.. He becomes an animal and owns the stage...
IMHO
Yngwie with Mats Leven is a No Brainer and I hope they work together again real soon... IMO he was the best vocalist yngwie ever had."
So you play guitar?

I m a richie blackmore speed guitarist this guy is blacmore on crack ."

"Short and to the point: how can a guitar player/composer of this magnitude not be amazing live???? This was a KILLER 2CD set of songs. Gates of Babylon (Rainbow cover) dedicated to the late, Cozy Powell on drums-also Pictures From Home, by Deep Purple, and Jimi Hendrix's Red House, leaving Yngwie to really show his ability to cover songs by GREAT guitarists before him. Trilogy Suite, Black Star: his playing on these songs in particular, are AMAZING! Killer production, killer job on the part of all the other musicians also. 10 stars for this one! KILLER LIVE YNGWIE RATING FROM SCRAGGY'S TOMB OF POWER METAL, USA. PLAY THIS ONE LOUD! Cheers."

"Since I already owned his Live in Leningrad CD plus an Italian bootleg double CD recorded in Milan and also the VHS Live in '85 and Live in Leningrad I wasn't really gasping for Yngwie live material. But I must say I was converted after hearing it. While a number of Yngwie staples are here such as the instrumentals Black Star and Far Beyond the Sun this collection is a great glimpse at the Yngwie live show circa '98. His back catalogue is extensive enough to allow him to put metallic numbers like Rising Force in but funky hard rockers too like Bedroom Eyes and to shift gears from balls such as Like An Angel to semi goth rockers like Seventh Sign. We even get a couple of covers from the Inspiration album.
Yngwies production allows enough bottom end to fill otu the mix and Mats Levens vox are sturdy enough to last the whole concert. He's not Joe Lynn Turner but he gets the job done. Long time collaborators Mats Olausson (keys) and Barry Dunaway (B) fill out their roles nicely while drumming is supplied by Jonas Ostman.
The overall release is lifted by the obviously adoring South American crowd and sure, they've been toned down in the mix but that's standard. Also what fuels my respect for this package is that it had been around 10 years since a full length live release from Yngwie so it didn't feel like a stopgap - in fact this was recorded on the tour of Facing the Animal, one of his strongest albums of the 90's.
And a special treat was the EP style disc by the support band that was included in the package intially. Not that I thought it was any good (drats) but it was a cool idea and presumably much appreciated by the boys in Dr Sin.
Yngwie fans of any era should buy this as along with Facing the Animal it shows Yngwie going through a strong patch. A very worth four stars."
