CD Reviews

Loves it

"If I were ever to start making music, this is very close to what I would make.

It sounds more like a film score than anything else due to the fact that a digital symphony is a staple in this music.

No recycled riffs; you are constantly hearing new sounds every second. This keeps the music interesting the whole way yet it may get annoying for a lack of consistancy and for the fact that we usually like to follow along a steady rhythm.

I dug real deep to discover this artist. I love Yelworc for its obscurity and quality. May it never go mainstream."
Worth the purchase.

"Interesting album indeed. Its hard to describe the sound, but its definitely rare and complex. A great addition to any industrial or dark music lover's collection. A good sound system is a must to be able to hear its complexing sound mixtures."
Another creepy Yelworc record.

"Peter Devin is Yelworc. Yelworc (Crowley spelled backwards) is possibly the most intense artist on the Metropolis label. The music is dark electro industrial...but it's verry heavy, and ultra creepy...not the kind of band that usually gets people dancing and stuff. Actually, Yelworc isn't really trying to make dance hits...more like music for seriously devoted fans of the gothic and Industrial genre. This is a great album, and as far as I'm conscerned, Yelworc is probaly the most complex music around these days. Verry musically talented...way, way, way better than most of the synth pop cheese that's become somewhat repetitive. On Yelworc's prior album (Trinity) the theme was hell..Icolation is about purgatory. Verry good record."
