Great for a game soundtrack

"I love this soundtrack even though I never played the game and never plan to. This has a little bit of everything although most of it tends to sound celtic. The melodies are simple and are repeated twice on each track. I can't translate the track titles since they are in Japanese but I don't think it matters, you know what to think when you hear it. there are some beautiful piano tracks, upbeat bagpipe, mysterious sounding, grave, soft pop rock, classical crossover, and a few odd sounding tracks that really don't fit any catagory. If you have ever listened to Mitsudas soundtracks this one sounds the most like Chrono Cross.
Now although this is great music you must remember this is a simple videogame soundtrack. you won't find anything close to the depth of what a classical composer would write(although Mitsuda is a great composer) ,but more of a modern day classical crossover, pop, rock composer. Just thought I'd mention it 'cause I've seen soundtracks like these recommended to classical listeners.
The two CDs put togeather clock in at almost two hours.
