"i'd bought this cd at first as a joke, 'cause he was a guy that i nor my friends had never heard of and the name was...different. well, listened to the cd and was actually impressed by ya-boyys talents. he's got good skills on the mic and backed it up with some good beats...or is it the other way around? he doesn't yell "uhhh" repeatedly or constantly tell you where he's from like certain others. who cares about that. this guy raps. and does it well. ya-boyy has a unique style that i can't compare with others. you should check out ya-boyys cd."
I've been listening since Ya-boyy first came out...

"Back in 2000 I was introduced to a song called "Gave you a Dolla" and I was turned on to this CD instantly. I know the song is a little ruff but the beat backs it up all the way. We need more music like this. I'm not a huge rap fan but I'll tell you what, this CD should be recognized. His talent is great and I hope someone picks him up soon. I assure you that this CD wont disapoint you."
Surprise, Surprise!...

"From the name and the cover of this album, you are almost inclined to stereotype it as 'another dumb rap album', but once you listen to it you do a total 180!! It was actually good!...Ya Boyy surprises the listener with his one of a kind style and his tracks are awesome. You can tell he is a serious artist that cares about his music. His choice of producers, and guest artists on his album speak volumes. Definatly one for the collection. Definatly one of the best ten albums I've heard this year and one of only about two or three that were actually worth the money."

"Although he is an unknown, Ya Boyy is actually an exceptional rapper. He has a style that is all his own. He doesn't try to emulate other rappers like other rappers do. He insists on doin things his way. All the music on this CD is well produced and have great dept and absent from his lyrics are scenes of intense violence that other rappers feel is necessary to sell albums. His lyrics aren't entirely clean though. He does mention things such as "hoes" and "weed". Hopefully some major label discovers the talent that is Ya Boyy and take him higher. A rapper of his skill should not go unoticed by the public. I advise all rap fans to give Ya Boyy a chance. I assure you that you will not be dissapointed. This is a Must Have CD!"
