CD Reviews

~Beautiful~

"My first taste of the legacy that is X-Japan came in the form of their beautiful, haunting, sensual, elegant, enchanting, and enamoring Ballads. On the wings of drummer Yoshiki's amazing talent for composition this album transcends Visual Rock stereo-types. Hailed as the band that created the Visual Kei genre this album shows the true versatility that Japanese Visual Rock was founded on. If you're a fan of JRock, Visual Kei, Piano Ballads, Guitar Ballads, or beautiful music that can truly touch the soul. Give this album a try. It is incredible."
The Timeless and Tragic Beauty of X Japan

"The legendary JRock band X Japan was always known as a metal band, but they were also known for their incredible and enthralling ballads as well. This album collects all of their ballads, from their 1988 debut album's "Alive", to their final goodbye ballad, "The Last Song". All the way through, your senses will be overwhelmed by the indescribable beauty of these classics, such as "Endless Rain", one of their most well known and popular songs, or "Forever Love", which has to be one of the most utterly stunning and beautiful ballads in history. Each track was written and composed by Yoshiki, the drummer/pianist and leader of the band, and his incredible talent for composition and songwriting shines on this CD. If your looking for something more than just "another cd", then please try X Japan's "Ballad Collection", and enter a world of tragic beauty the likes of which you've never heard before."
