"I hope to check out his entire Bottesini series, but for now this is the only one I have. I tend to like the CDs that have rare tracks on them rather than the usual "greatest hits of Bottesini" type of thing. This one unearths many unknown or seldom heard works and is worth adding to your collection if you are into that sort of thing. I've heard that he researches many of the pieces' actual manuscripts and plays from them so this is the real deal. I could use a little more intensity and some more bel canto phrasing in some parts, but overall a great CD."
