Great music, but a little disappointed

"As always, Yoko Kanno delivers a strong album, but I'm disappointed that the version of "When Heaven's Not Enough", as sung in the first episode of the show, doesn't seem to be on any of the soundtracks. The second soundtrack has the Steve Conte version of the song, which I love, but not the female vocalist's version. Oh well. :P"
Awesome music

"I love Yoko Kanno's music. Her versatility as a composer is astounding - tackling different musical genres such as jazz (Cowboy bebop), orchestrated (Escaflowne), and pop (macross plus). This time, Wolf's Rain has a decidedly latino/jazz influence. But that's not all. The collection is decidedly eclectic. From Steve Conte, with a wonderfully 80's pop song "Stray",to a hauntingly beautiful jazz/electronica song "Stranger" (this is truly a sexy song with booty), this album has something to please everyone. This album is a crowd pleaser and a perfect party album!"
