Concept album on immigration is unsatisfying

"This is probably the weakest recording in this famed (and now, sadly, defunct) Irish group's repertoire. The first few tracks are fabulous ballads, but there's way too many songs on the Irish in the U.S. That's fine for Irish-Americans, but tiresome for everybody else."

"I saw them play for 2 3/4 hours last night in Minneanoplace. Unless they died and rose again in a dream, the Wolfe Tones are very much alive - albeit a bit older and tired after giving a great show of their finest. So, to the point of this CD, it isn't their most inspiring work, but that said, it is still entertaining and thought provoking stuff."
