""Goochan" (2007) is the seventh album from German power metal band Wizard. It is a concept album, and draws on a sci-fi/fantasy story of the band's own creation.

"Goochan" isn't terribly original, but it is quite a good power metal album. There are some catchy songs here. There are some interesting progressive elements from time to time, too ("Lonely in Desert Land", for example). The musicianship is good, too. Sven D'Anna has a good vocal range. The production on this album is noticeably superior.

On the whole, this is a solid power metal album."
