"The answer to this question is no, the woman seemingly can do no wrong. I might have thought that an entire album of songs accompanied by a ukelale would become boring, but in the hands of Lyle Ritz the instrument commands a respect I never thought I could give it. Lyle Ritz makes the simple 4 stringed instrument do more than I ever thought it could do, and thats all Ms. Kilgore needs to lay out a wonderful program of songs, well known and not so well known. This woman seems to bring out the best of everyone she works with, Dave Frishberg especially. She is really a great singer, and I have loved every single CD of hers I have purchased. I can pop it in the player, settle back and relax, knowing I'm about to listen to a swinging singer who plants a kiss on every song she sings. Another knockout performance from a lady who deserves to be known by every lover of jazz singing. If you are unfamiliar with her work, don't let another week pass before you pick up one of her CDs."
